โWe stayed in a recently refurbished room and were very comfortable. Great view of the mountain. Shuttle from the Coastal Classic train to the hotel worked very well. We enjoyed a casual meal in aBar as well as a tasty brunch in the Tramline Cafe. My husband found the Nordic Spa to be excellent. The restaurant at the top of the tram had wonderful views but was pricey. Overall a very enjoyable stay.โ

โGreat place to stay in Girdwood for the night. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just a bed and shower. I booked a room with a shared bathroom and it worked out well. The property is very well maintained and in a convenient location to everything in Girdwood. The check in is all automated as they send you details via email. There is no staff there. The lobby/breakfast room was well supplied and had everything I needed to start my day. I highly recommend this place!!โ

โI have stayed at Jewel Lake a couple of times over the years when I can find availability. The communication is excellent and the lodging is very welcoming, comfortable, quiet and safe.โ
โThe Highland Glen Lodge is a classic B&B in the sense, with a beautiful new facility. The hosts are warm and welcoming, the breakfast is excellent, and all-in-all it's the best spot in Anchorage that we know of.โ
