"Great Location. Close to everything. Literally the best location for a hotel."

"The hotel is nice, and clean, and they have the BEST big towels. But it doesn't have an actual restaurant or room service, which is very inconvenient. They also seem to have an issue around check-in. I was in a line of like 20 people, which was surprising. There was one desk clerk handling some sort of problem with one guest for 20 minutes. The other clerk moved glacially slow. Neither clerk seemed welcoming or customer service oriented. During this time, the manager came out several times to talk to the clerk handling the problem, but did not even look at or acknowlege the long line of people waiting. I would expect a manager to step in and help process the long line of check-ins. Another person came out several times and told people to use the check-in automatic kiosks, and several people said they had tried it already and it didn't even work. "Oh, sorry about that," she said. There's also a mystifying thing... the hallways and navigation are poorly marked, and it's not easy to figure out where you are going, or find an elevator. I was in a 3xx room, and when I got to the elevator, it said I was on floor 2 (which had the 4xx rooms). In the elevator, I had to press 1 to get to the floor with the 3xx rooms. ????? Didn't make sense! My recommendations: More check-in staff, better customer service training, and better signage for navigation."

"The whole place needs a little TLC. Plaster hanging off the bathroom ceilings, hallways are old and dinghy looking and the rooms need carpets instead of flooring to minimize the noise. That said, the rooms were clean ,we felt safe and the continental breakfast was good."

"Stay was okay, room was a bit outdated. Fire alarm light was a bit distracting at night, might have need battery changed. Overall okay."

Royal Regency Hotel

"Overall, everything was very good. Unfortunately, the freezer in the refrigerator didn't work properly and I had something that needed to be kept frozen and that didn't work. The lighting in the bathrooms could be improved, not good at all. Walls weren't the greatest for noise and we could hear several of our neighboring rooms, at times. Staff was very accommodating and polite and breakfast was excellent. The last thing, nothing was noted at check in about the use of your room key to get in and out of the parking lot. We figured it out, but a little heads up would have been nice. Overall, a nice stay with just a few minor issues."

"Getting a little tired though it is a wonderful historic building. The restaurant menu is not as sophisticated as it used to be but then few restaurants are after Covid."

"Lovely. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were well appointed. We arrived at night and it was a little difficult finding the main entrance but obviously we succeeded"
