"Overall, the property is tired with visible excessive wear that indicates its well-overdue for a refresh. A positive was the shower with a rain style shower head with great water pressure. Though, the shower floor had excessive wear: stained & worn shower floor, shelves for towels banged up badly with painted areas chipped. The beds were comfortable."

"Amazing location literally across the street from Rockefeller Center and Radio City on 51st between 5th and 6th Ave.; loved being able to walk across for a quick bite or a cup of coffee. No more than a 5 to10-minute walk to Central Park, Times Square, theatre district, subway, shopping, and more. Radio City was hosting the Tony Awards while we were there, so there was some setup/teardown noise on the street overnight, but that's the way it goes when you're in such a central location; it was all pretty exciting to watch the area transform so quickly! Loved the second floor coffee/tea station and the free refillable water bottle stations on each floor. Staff was so helpful, booked a cab for us for an early morning flight, and they were ready and waiting when we came downstairs. Room was clean and beds were comfortable; just right for our little group. Would definitely go back!"

"The location is great but the hotel is in much needed help. The hall carpets are worn and have several of what looks like bleach marks, the toilet seat did not fit the toilet, the door to the bathroom hits the toilet and you have to squish yourself around it to get to said toilet, not sure the last time the windows were cleaned, etc. the would not check you in until 3PM….period. They didn’t check to see if a room might be available. There was a significant line because of this. Would have been nice maybe even courteous to check people in then tell them to leave their luggage and come back but no, there literally was no one there until 3PM and there was no sign letting you know what was going on except one that said the person stepped away and would be right back. That sign indicates someone went to the bathroom for a couple of minutes, not that folks needed to wait for hours. Some waited several hours."

"This hotel is ideally located and close to everything, the staff is outstanding and extremely friendly and helpful. The lobby bar was closed in the afternoons and the rooftop bar closed one night for a private event and the only option was a small bar on the second floor which was very crowded. I’m unsure why but this made it inconvenient for meeting with colleagues. We have stayed at Park Lane several times and although a little outdated it’s a great place to stay and I will definitely stay here again."
