“Excellent stay. We were there for 1 night and the owner was extremely nice, available, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Super nice guy. We also were surprised at how nice the location of this B&B is. We walked out and were immediately met by the most beautiful sunset and a vibrant square with music and an aperol spritz stand, with such amazing vibes. Everyone was gathered to watch the beautiful sunset in Forio and it was such good energy.”

“The short: Good hotel and stellar service with A+ pools. Horrible bathroom vent situation and poor AC. The long: Disclaimer - we were in a separate auxiliary area, not in the main hotel. Some of this might be better if you stay in the main building. -Bathroom vent…there’s no fan in the bathroom. They have a window that can be opened, but there’s also no bug screen. Your choice is to suffer in heat and humidity or let a pile of bugs in. -The AC is really weak. Our room never got colder than...

“We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. ”

“La struttura non è male , ha una bella piscina, anche se senza bagno. La posizione è piuttosto decentrata, ma ben servita da autobus. Andrebbe un pò ristrutturato, la rubinetteria nei bagni è datata, lo specchio nel bagno della stanza addirittura presentava degli aloni marroni da usura. Buona la colazione, ma non eccezionale. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo , considerata la media prezzi del posto ad agosto. ”
