“Stunning views from this mountainside property but is a long and winding drive to get there although this only takes around 15 mins from Kandy town. The rooms are in small blocks of 4 and set apart. Lovely buffet restaurant.”

It s located well outside Kandy and which was great after the visit of Kandy town with all the traffic and noises. Coming back to the hotel was so relaxing . The room is quite big and very clean. “Gorgeous rooms and beautiful owners. Kumari & Joseph are so accomodating. The bus stops right in front of the path to the hotel, followed by an uphill stretch to reach the summit. So it's an easy & cheaper access to the city by bus. Highly recommended place to stay. ”
“Cassendra staff eere welcoming and helpful - even before I arrived. They helped me find affordable transport for a day trip and when needed were able to serve my dinner extra quickly. Wifi was touch and go but ultimately held for a few video calls. The hotel is a bit old but rooms are spacious and clean with great bathrooms.
The location is know to tuktuk drivers and the mountain offers amazing views. Its also very close to the best Kandyan dancers (5 min walk) and a view point!”
