Hotel was about 10 steps off Kappabashi street. About 10-15 walk to train stations depending on where you want to go. Grocery store nearby. 7-11 near hotel was not well stocked, but I seen an Lawson being built nearby. Easy walk to Sensoji temple. We also walked to Tokyo Skytree crossing the river. ...

There's not much to Kawasaki city itself. It is best used as a hub or means to get other places you want to see without having to spend exorbitant amounts of money to stay there. I would recommend this to anyone who is visiting Tokyo or Yokohama.
Kawasaki is a very busy place, but has a surprising number of pleasant amenities.
Hotel itself was nice and the staff accommodating. However, inconven-ient location in an isolated industrial area, with day-time hourly shuttle service from hotel to Kawasaki Station (a 15-20+ min. ride), and surprising cab ride was our takeaway.
Close to our relatives.
I just wish visitors can buy Suica card without charge fee. Buying ticket all the time is a waste of time.
