"This hotel is in a very convenient location. Despite being close to the railway tracks, it was surprisingly quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and separate toilet were very clean, and I enjoyed taking a bath every night after a long day of sightseeing.
The only major issue was a scheduled five-hour power outage in the building. We were not informed of this at the time of booking. Only after our reservation had been confirmed did we receive a notification from the hotel explaining that the information had been available on its Japanese website. However, the website was inaccessible due to security updates, and the hotel claimed that it had been unable to share this information through overseas booking platforms.
The hotel offered free cancellation, but by that point, it was too close to our travel dates to find another hotel within a reasonable price range. No alternative compensation was offered. I was disappointed with how the hotel handled this inconvenience, and their response fell below my expectations.
That said, aside from this issue, our stay was comfortable, and the hotel was a great choice for our family of three, including our four-year-old child."
