"No water; no compensation. When we checked in, we were told that our room might not have water and in that case, we should use the public bath 18 floors away. We lost water the last night of our stay and were unable to shower or use the toilet in our room the following morning. The hotel offered no compensation for this extremely inconvenient situation. In addition, the room temperature is controlled by the hotel and guests are unable to adjust the temperature. Our room was too hot at night making it difficult to sleep."

"Great location. Near attractions and shopping. Near a smaller train station (less hectic) and a subway station. The staff was wonderful and very responsive. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with many choices. Both Western and Japanese."

"The shuttle bus service was excellent. It not only provided Airport service but transported guests to the Kawasaki station for easy access to the trains and a large shopping mall."

"We had a room with a private bath on the balcony. Our room was very clean and well appointed. My husband and I had separate single beds - not sure if I made a mistake with the booking or if that was standard. The location of the hotel is stunning. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. There was a shuttle bus from the local train station which we didn’t know until a couple of days before our trip. The included teppinyaki dinner was one of our favourite dinners in our whole time in Japan. No tattoos allowed in the public baths, but the private bath was perfect for me. "

"Husband and I stayed here for 2 nights before boarding a cruise ship, worked great for us. Comfortable clean room, great location. My Starbucks was minutes away, lots of food choices within 10 minutes walking. Only issue is I had troubles with WiFi but I’m sure it was operator error! Staff graciously let us check in a bit early and was able to pay $4500 yen to stay 3 hours past check out so we could go straight to cruise ship, worked great! I would stay again for sure!"

"Breakfast was served at the ball room during the holiday season and it was disappointing. Overall, it felt quite compact. It was a bit disappointing that there wasn’t much of a Hawaiian-style branding or a sense of relaxation. "

"Location is excellent! Close to shops and main train stations for all the train lines. The Staff are very friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel. If I have a chance to visit Yokohama, I’ll definitely book a room again. Thank you for your hard work and hospitality."
