“Great place to stay. Highly recommend.”

“Ethan was very friendly and helpful even though he was working alone and had been let down by housekeeping staff not turning up to work. The same can’t be said for the young lady working the bar that evening, who was less than friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good quality and cooked and served speedily. Have visited the pub many times over the years and pleasantly surprised how much more comfortable it is now. Over all a great stay ”

“Perfect stay Accommodation was very clean and a good size room. We also bought our dog with us and a dog bed, towel and bowl with a treat for him was provided in our room which was a lovely touch to our stay. We had a lovely evening meal also one of the best we have had in a long time and lots of choice for a quality breakfast. We will be returning as from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and very professional and helped make our stay perfect.”

“It was a quiet & very pleasant accommodation. Just what I wanted!”

“Overall cleanliness was OK. The bathroom looked newly refurbished, however the shower caddy was rusty and the soap dispensers were empty. No parking but there is a car park behind the hotel, also from the road isn’t easy to spot as it looks like a restaurant from the front. Breakfast was OK, one choice of coffee only included in the price. Overall the hotel is clean and comfortable. ”

“No food Monday or Tuesday, the only food available is a Chinese in the village that doesn't take card (cash only). Not sure about other rooms but room 4 the Internet is terrible on all the networks and no phone signal either. Room is not made up or restocked during the day. The pub car park is small and the patrons seem to abaddon their vehicles all over the place which mean you can't get parked. There is a fridge in your room🌟 Would I stay again 🤔 doubt that very much. I wish the owners...

“Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend ”

“Great place to stay if you’re off to the races, 15mins by car or Taxi. The pub does not provide a breakfast but their evening meals are good, and the staff are friendly. The rooms are at the back of the pub and have ensuite bathrooms, tea, coffee and water bottles in the mini fridge. The linen and towels were all fresh and the bed very comfortable. ”
