“Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. ”

“The hotel is ideally located in the village with an outside seating area across the road and overlooking the river. We ordered salads for lunch which were brought to our table in PLASTIC baskets with the salad presented on a serviette! When questioned the waiter explained that they do not allow crockery outside yet drinks were served in glasses! “The breakfast was good, both choice and quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It appears that they welcome dogs in some rooms. My room was clean and the bed was comfy. There wasn't any parking at the premises, but I was able to find an on street space relatively nearby.”

He then got more annoyed that he didn't have the right number for me because he mixed me up with a different lodger.
