โA very nice little hotel with pleasant staff. Good location for visiting cricket ground and other things in the Headingley area. Highly recommended.โ
โGreat bed, extra pillows. Good breakfast, wish it was longer. They were pretty busy so I didnโt feel right bothering them for the WiFi password, maybe they should put it in the rooms?โ
โThe Throstles nest is a nice quiet peaceful escape where you can relax and feel safe. The farm is located in beautiful countryside with outstanding views.Margret and her family are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts are excellent and made with good quality local produce. The farm is literally two miles from the centre of Skipton. Hope to return soon!โ
โWe recently stayed at Falcon Manor for a weekend getaway and were absolutely blown away. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome โ the building itself is stunning, set in beautiful grounds with sweeping views over the Dales.
Our room was immaculate, full of character with high ceilings, period details, and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern and well-equipped, with lovely touches like LโOccitane toiletries and fluffy towels. We especially enjoyed the peaceful view...
โLovely hotel in a great spot in Harrogate! Everything is within walking distance and the building itself is gorgeous. The room was clean, tea & coffee well stocked and towels were very fresh & fluffy. Breakfast itself was tasty and located on the 5th floor, giving great views! โ
โThe room was very small but very nicely set out. The bed was very comfortable and everything you needed in the room for a lovely overnight stay. The breakfast was delicious, we didnโt eat an evening meal but the bar area is really nice. Nice touch in your room were 2 vouchers for 2 half pints of Timothy Taylorโs beer. โ
โIf I visit Harrogate again, Iโll definitely stay here once more. All the staff are polite and kind. I highly recommend including breakfast in your booking โ the staff at the breakfast area were also very friendly, and their warm service along with the delicious food made my mornings delightful. Thanks to this hotel, Iโm leaving Harrogate with only good memories.โ
โWe took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away.
This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes.
The building is very old and reached over an old stone bridge or the beck (stream)
Parking is available and the room was nicely furnished with views of the water and a very comfy bed.
The hotel and attached restaurant is completely plant based. I somehow missed this fact when booking but I neednโt have worried.
The dinner...
