โLovely large bed but a tiny bathroom, although if space is limited that is the best way around so suited us fine.
Pleasantly surprised to find permit parking available right at the door of the property, although ยฃ4.50 for 24 hours just 200 yards or so away was also most acceptable.
Very pleasant, easy walk across Jephson Gardens to the town centre.
Reasonable walk to Victoria Park for the Bowls England national finals.
Generous breakfast.

โQuirky and typically old-English. Whist the room was small, it was quiet and very comfortable. The staff, especially the dining room waitresses, were friendly and suitably attentive.
We enjoyed our meals and the location suited us very well.โ
โThe Banbury Cross B&B puts a number of hotel chains to shame, from being greeted by the host through to the facilities and breakfast. Great place to stay, slept like a log and was fully refreshed for the drive down to Kidlington for work. Highly recommend this B&B.โ
โBusy village pub, very old so lots of low beams (banged my head going up the stairs; no signage, so that could be improved), friendly service, good beer, very good food, generous portions and excellent value for money. Excellent choice if you are in need of a room in the Cotswolds at a sensible price โ

โWe enjoyed our stay at the "castle." The room was comfortable and clean. We had hoped to use the restaurant, but were too tired. Nevertheless we enjoyed a cooked to order breakfast, that was excellent.โ
