“We booked this property for a family wedding at Lusty Glaze, it couldn’t have been better. Close to the venue, walking distance to the town and an amazing property. The view from the lounge was amazing with brilliant sunsets. A little welcome pack on arrival was a nice touch. Thank you Jacky and David.”

“Location on front good , breakfast good but checkout time 10am is far too early . Wifi is poor and area generally has poor mobile phone signal so you really are getting away from it ! we had dinner there one night , good , but expensive !”

“Pros - Free Parking - Near Centre - Swimming Pool - Shower Pressure - Radiator in the Room Cons - Booked 2 x twin rooms but only gave one key card. When we asked and received the second card it blocked access for the original card. This happened for both rooms we booked. - We stayed 4 nights, it's frustrating that you have to request cleaning by 10am for the following day. - When cleaning was requested, they made the bed but did not clean the bathroom or replace the towels. “I've traveled more than 20 countries and of course stayed many hotels. However, this hotel was the best for our family in terms of services. They had separated restaurants for family and adults (only) so that kids can have more freedom. In front of hotel, there are very well equipped playground for kids as well. Staff members were kind and they booked tours for us as well. Swimming pool and indoor spa are free; but, you should pay extra for outdoor spa. We will definitely come back to...

“It's a fair walk for us OAPs to the town centre. Very limited parking due to the Shanty Festival. We were lucky to get the last space underground. It would have been a disaster for us if we couldn't have parked locally. Apparently one can reserve a space for a fee - wasn't told this when I booked. Limited menu in restaurant. Limited breakfast choice. - no cold meat and cheese for the europeans. Amazing views across the harbour.”

“Very comfortable bed, spacious clean room, quiet, very good breakfast, nice friendly couple, plenty of parking, nice location with a good pub 10 mins walk away. Good price for accommodation and value for money. Will stay again.”

“Very comfortable room, nice clean bathroom. The walls are a bit thin though so we could hear other neighbours, although everyone was asleep at night so no problem to sleep at all. The location of the hotel is great, it is a bit out of the town, in the middle of the valley. The garden is amazing and you can walk to the well a bit far down and to the town itself. The breakfast was very generous and varied.”

“No sink to wash your hands in the shared toilet. Shower tray was dirty. The breakfast wasn’t cooked properly leaving un edible. The manager to great delight in showing off her parrot as she had taught it to say, profanities.”
