The Beach House

The Beach House

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed for three nights at this great hotel and would return again. The staff were really friendly and efficient, everyone we met from welcome, bar staff, waitresses etc so nice. Our room was a Cosy sea view which I chose as I wanted a shower rather than bath. It was what it said in description, cosy not big. The bed was comfortable with good linen, bathroom clean and good toiletries provided. Well stocked tea tray. Room made up daily. We were pleasantly surprised by the food available, which I had seen described as pub food and expected standard pub grub menu but there was a good range of options and food was well prepared and presented. The midweek meal deal was another great surprise. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. The building itself is an interesting g Arts & Crafts property and it was lovely to see original features retained. The views of sea and Isle of Wight were beautiful and walks from the hotel along the coast either way really easy to access. Although my husband and I don’t have allergies we have family members that do and we were impressed by how allergy aware the staff were and the guidance they gave to guests who did need it. Will definitely keep in mind when we need another short break."
