We visited in late October so did not experience the mosquitos from other reviews. What we did experience was the view and the sound of the water flowing in the river. "Good location.. you can hear everything though because of the very near soccer field. Besides that we had a great time"

"Owner had left note on door to call when we arrived. Used payphone which took some time but finally worked. Owner was there within 15 mins. Older building but clean. Owner was very friendly. $10 soles taxi to airport. $6 soles to San Pedro market. Begin to downpour when we arrived so we where unable to walk around and see the historical sites. Our flight was moved up so only slept a few hours at hotel."
