“AVOID AWFUL HOTEL.”

“Staff were outstanding, so polite and helpful. We had the early bird evening meal, which was beautiful and very reasonable in price. We stayed in a woodland escape cabin with a hot tub. It was clean and well dressed. Hot tub was preheated with fresh water. Will 100% be staying again.”

“It is a homely place with very friendly and helpful staff. Had a family feel to it and the restaurant food was excellent. We had only a short stay but wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when in the area.”

“Very clean room upstairs, great parking space, Breakfast were many choices and delicious ! A quintessential small village in norther Wales, we falling in loved.”

“Lovely place, nice room with a modern bath. Staff was friendly. Would stay there again.”

“Our room was clean but very basic and small. The bathroom has been recently updated and everything works great, including plenty of hot water. The parking is especially spacious for Wales! Restaurant food is typical pub food, tasty, generous portions and served piping hot. Friendly staff. Nothing fancy here, but good value for the money.”

“All the staff, Reception, Kitchen, Bar & Cleaners were very friendly and helpful, the arrangements for Breakfast & Dinner were well signed. The Food was very well prepared and presented, the choices available were various”

“This hotel could be superb but needs TLC. Staff very good but the hotel needs lots of attention”

“I absolutely loved this hotel. The only thing was having to walk from their car park to the hotel which wasn’t very well signed but in all fairness was I could have read about this before checking in. Staff were amazing and so very friendly. They were happy to help and offer advice throughout the stay. Dinner and breakfast was lovely. Cocktails great and overall a beautiful stay - if I could have stayed an extra night I would have done. Our room was up in the rafters and was superb. A twin...

“This hotel more than exceeded our expectations. In fact we were blown away by everything. Friendly staff on reception, lovely decor, our room on the first floor was nicely decorated, and the breakfast was delicious. There is loads of parking. We'd definitely stay here again. Wish more hotels were like this one!!!”

“Very friendly staff. Had some issues communicating with the hotel via email and Expedia messages, but were able to quickly resolve issues by phone and in person. Beautiful old hotel with modern features in the heart of Aberdovey.”

“The room was exceptionally clean and a good size also had a small kitchenette which was a nice touch, so if you fancy a drink before going out you can cook your wine. Good air con warm and cool. The staff were very attentive. Can’t fault anything and we would definitely stay again if we come to this area. Great value for money”

“The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfy, the hosts are lovely and friendly and very talkative and they offer lots of knowledge about walks and activities in wales and have leaflets avaliable with information about activities. The hosts were also very quick to help with anything that was needed. Also the breakfast was amazing and there was lots of options to choose from”
