"The rooms that are ocean view don't exactly face the ocean. When we arrived, they had to explain the difference between oceanfront and ocean view rooms. There are no rooms that actually face the ocean. Rather, the front of the building faces the ocean, but the sides face the parking lot or a garage. If you want to look at the ocean, you need to go out onto the balcony and look down the coast. I feel like the pictures of the place on Expedia are a bit misleading about this. However, the place is directly on the ocean. I walked the pier (free) and the beach each day and it was beautiful. Another challenge with this hotel is that a train apparently runs past regularly day and night. It was extremely loud!!!! I was worried I wouldn't sleep because it was so loud, but my husband and I are heavy enough sleepers, so it didn't keep us up or wake us. Anyone who isn't will not be able to tolerate staying here."

"Very nice stay. Extremely comfortable, clean, quiet. The only complaint was the jacuzzi didn’t work all that well- it was hot but jets weren’t working. The staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back."

"This place is great to spend a weekend! I keep coming back cause it’s next to the beach and I hate walking to far ! This is outside your hotel . The place needs upgrades, it’s old but I’m old I don’t care it’s fun and you make it what you want to make it !"

"this hotel was was great for a little weekend stay, it was close to everything. if we were staying longer i think we probably wouldn’t stay here as the freeway was pretty noisey, the t.v only went to 40 so it was hard to hear if the air conditioning was going or the door was open, and it could be a little cleaner. and the towels were not that great and the blankets felt like the towels. BUT with all that said, it was perfect for a little 2 day get away."

"Nice hotel! Grateful to have easy on site parking in the underground garage, plenty of spots at all times of day. Hot tub was great. Breakfast in the morning was superb. Rooms were large and comfortable. Check in staff couldn’t be any nicer."
