“Unser Zimmer war wundervoll eingerichtet, das Bett war gemütlich und das Ambiente war sehr einladend. Der Kamin war ein Highlight. Es hat sich wie nach Hausekommen angefühlt. Wir saßen im Garten, auf bequemen Stühlen und haben mit kuscheligen Decken den Sonnenuntergang beobachtet. Jederzeit wieder.”

“Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat.”

“This place is really nice! Rooms are adorable and the grounds are beautiful. Easy trail access to Van Damme beach and the trail itself is lined with wildflowers and lovely views. Nice chicken enclosure where you can feed them and the Llama are so cute! Breakfast delivered to tour room in the morning was very nice and the pizza restaurant had a nice selection of pizzas and salads. Super nice staff as well! Highly recommend!”

“The location is good but our room was very close to Hwy 1. Check in and Check out was electronic and very easy. Our room appeared maintenance deferred. The bathroom was ok but could use an update in materials and fixtures. The floor in the room is vinyl and peeling up in places.”

“The SCP staff were really fantastic. My girlfriend and I booked a place at the Coast Lodge location. The place was great, and the ocean view was fantastic, but we didn't realize there aren't any trail/path options for walking, and we have an active dog. We asked if we could switch to the Farm location, and the staff went out of their way after hours to move us even though it was difficult because our reservation was through Expedia and not directly with them. They even upgraded us to the cottage...

“Very nice property! Great location, nice views, very nice room which was very clean especially for a Pet friendly room. They had everything you need in the room. The grounds/gardens are well maintained and pretty. Nicely lit at night. The restaurant/Tavern was excellent; great food, wonderful atmosphere and service. Our server Matt was amazing! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even our fur babies enjoyed the stay just as much as we did. We will be coming back here for sure!”

“Excellent location overlooking the Harbor and close to restaurants. Room was spacious and very clean. Hot water in the shower. One drawback they do not serve breakfast.”

“Parking was easy. At reception there were fresh cookies and coffee, and water for tea. There were a lot of steps up to our room but it was clean and nice. Staff was friendly and very hospitable. Walking distance to downtown was perfect. The skunk train, which is a draw to the area for many, lets you know that it is coming and going. It is loud. Overall, a nice stay in a super historic building. ”

“We enjoyed our stay here, property is very cute and walking distance to beach and shops/restaurants. The bed was on the harder side and the traffic was a little noisy from the road but otherwise no complaints!”

“Our toilet broke within 10 minutes of checking in and when I called the front desk they said they didn’t have maintenance and encouraged my husband to fix it if he could. A few minutes later maintenance showed up but had no clue what was the problem so my husband basically had to use his tools to fix it himself. The only “amenity” the ice machine was also broken. If they would just repair some of these outdated things then it would be a nice place to stay.”

“Amazing place, everything was clean, tidy and quiet at night. The pool and spa worked the staff were so sweet and nice. Good breakfast I'd absolutely would stay again. I highly recommend this hotel for the price its a 10”
