“First time i have stopped at this hotel but it will not be the last really pleasant owners and staff lovely big room and on suit bathroom and great breakfast at a nice price. Plus it has it own pub.”

“There was a large party downstairs (floor below) on the Saturday night we stayed there. Music from DJ was very loud and pounding/felt in our room until after midnight preventing sleep. The Restaurant was unavailable due to the party. I wouldn’t recommend booking a room on this property when the downstairs facilities are booked in this way.”

“Staff and food were very good but stay was let down by a few niggles. I had booked a table for dinner but there was no record of it when I arrived. I had also asked for a room with a walk in shower but didn't get it. The biscuits on the tea tray were the smallest pieces of shortbread I have seen made worse by having no biscuits at all on my second night. The tea bags had not been replenished and why leave 3 cartons of long life milk for 2 people? I have stayed in many hotels with my dog and this...

“On bus route to Holy Island. Bus times subject to tides. Close to A1. Rooms are in separate annex next to Inn so quiet. Good car park. Food well prepared and presented with interesting seasonal menu. Good variety of choices for breakfast including excellent veggie breakfast. Recommend.”

“The room was very big and spacious. It was very clean and came with en suite too. There was a back door to the car parking area, which was a nice touch to load/unload your cases. The bar was nice with seating areas for food in the evening, just like a restaurant. The food was exceptional in the evening and at breakfast. The service was too.
