"Staff were great, bed was great, but building shows signs of wear. The suite built-in cabinet had water damage and dents, wallpaper was peeling at one spot, tub looked rough. I think the building must have been purchased and refurbished. Most of the Fairfields were built by Marriott and are spotless. I’ll stay at Hampton next time I’m in New Stanton."

Lived in Plum Borough for 11 years as a child. Always like to stop in Monroeville on my way through and love Monroeville and see how it has changed since we moved away in 1973.

I stopped by an auto shop to have my coolant topped off and my tires inflated, and within minutes the services had been delivered and when I started to pay, the proprietor said, "no charge". You sure don't find that in every community!

We always stay in Monroeville when traveling to family near DC. There are a couple of lacking restaurants that are kind of unusual,i.e. Pizza Hut and Burger King.

I've known the area since the 1950's. The Mall area is a huge disappointment.
