“The location was excellent. Morpeth is a beautiful town and everything is within easy walking distance of the Premier Lodge. My only criticism is that the Lodge is a red brick building and looks nothing like the photo. Nothing wrong with it though.”
“Beautiful hotel, not sure how it’s classed as a 3* on Expedia when it’s by far the nicest hotel in Newcastle. The rooms are a great size, clean and cosy and you can tell the hotel has thought of the “little things” that set it apart from a generic Hilton esque experience. “I had a wonderful stay at the Dock Hotel. When we arrived by bike, we were given a warm welcome and shown to a secure place to store the bikes, which was a great start. The room itself was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the shower was both hot and powerful.
The real highlight, though, was the breakfast. There was an impressive selection—cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, pastries, a choice of cooked breakfasts, and freshly brewed coffee. It was the perfect way to fuel up before...
