Ninth Ward, New Orleans hotel rooms at the Independent

"Amazing"

"This was my first time ever staying at this hotel, and I must say, it won't be my last. Pricing was perfect. I loved the valet service. The lady at the front desk was so nice and helpful. I am mad I didn't get to stay as long as I wanted to, to experience the restaurants and my drink/breakfast credit. "

"It’s time paint . And clean vents it was very dusty.. carpet in elevators are filthy "

"Having previously requested a courtyard room, upon arrival it became apparent that rooms seemed to have been assigned first come first served. We were offered a two story suite at a considerable increase in price which we declined as we were only there for 3 nights. The room we were eventually given on the second floor was very tired but clean. The shutter blinds overlooking the party street had broken and missing slats making sleeping and dressing challenging. The staff were friendly enough but not very interactive. "

"Rooms were a little dated and small but they were clean. The courtyard was beautiful and we spent time there. "

"Room was clean and nice, the mini fridge had previous guests leftovers in it. The pool and gym facilities are under renovation so unavailable for now"
