“Overall room was clean. Could have used more than one pillow per person. Room was stuffy at night, with no control of air conditioning. Our family went to bed at 10:30pm and couldn’t get any sleep until 12am, as people were running up and down the hallways. Room above us didn’t even consider the rooms below while they jumped off beds and running around. We were awaken 2am by a door-ding-dash. Three hours of sleep wasn’t going to work, so we packed our bags and found a different hotel.”

“Overall stay was good but cleanliness of room due to housekeeping shortages made just a small down turn in overall happiness with experience.”

“Room was nicely furnished and clean. Elevator was under maintenance and was moved to a first floor room which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast offered egg dish but not a meat and potatoes option. Peanut butter was not served. A better variety than most hotels of pastries and cereal was available. I was pleasantly surprised by visit and would stay again as deficiencies did not overrule the positive aspects.”

“The hotel was fine although there was t much to eat at the breakfast (no eggs). What frosts me is Expedia which listed the room at $104, $120ish with fees, but then I got charged over $140. Someone owes me a discount.”

“On the plus side, the hotel is clean, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is pretty decent, and the historic building has charm for sure. However, even though this hotel is historic and affordable, so we didn’t expect the world, there were a few in-room hotel basics that could have made our stay a lot better. “The hotel and room were very nice, especially for the price point. There was a dampness that was a bit distracting. And the pool smell was quite stroing in the public areas. The breakfast would have been better f there was toast as well as bagels. The pool was supposed to be heated but I think it may have been off. The night audtior went above and beyond to get my son a glass of milk to go with his cookies he bought.”

“Lovely hotel in central Wisconsin. I was pleasantly surprised what a great facility it was! Only down side was the elevator was not working at the time and I had to hike to the 4th floor with my bags. Breakfast was also delicious!”
