“We had a lovely two night stay at the Sligachan Hotel. Our room was clean, the beds were comfy with good pillows, and the rain shower feature in the bathroom was wonderful! We had a nice view of the water from our window. The bar next door, Seumas' Bar had an excellent selection of whiskey, a very nice dinner menu. The sea bass was fabulous and the honey cake dessert was divine. We would like to especially thank Mariam at the front desk for being so kind and helpful during our stay. ”

“Mooie ligging! Je krijgt het gevoel dat je ergens in de wildernis zit, maar tegelijkertijd heb je er alle luxe. De huisjes zijn stormveilig. Het was heel fijn om dat neergeschreven te zien, want je hoort wel wat wind en regen van stormweer. Heel gezellige sfeer in je huisje. Ontbijt was goed voorzien, opnieuw met prachtige uitzichten. Personeel was zeer behulpzaam in elke communcatie met hen.”

“Small family owned hotel. Located in a remote location, so very peaceful and quiet. In the evening there is a nice fireplace in the lounge. Perfect for a quick pre or post dinner hangout on a chilly night. Drive to the hotel is filled with scenic views of the water, rolling hills dotted with grazing sheep! “포트리 언덕에 오래된 집이나 좋은 위치임. 가족실을 이용해 퀸과 이층침대가 배치되어 어린이 두 명 포함 4인 가족방으로 적절함. 길가여서 차 소리와 1층 방이어 오가는 손님들 소리 소음이 있었음. 물 제공이 되지 않아 주변 coop 슈퍼에서 사와야 했음. 숙소 구하기 어려운 포트리에서 중급 숙박시설로 무난함”

“This hotel was amazing. We’ve stayed 8 nights during our England trip this time and this hotel was only 1 night. We should have stayed there more. The 1 night was the best stay of our trip. We will visit Portree again and definitely stay there again. Fantastic breakfast, clean and beautiful room. Very safisfied. ”

“We enjoyed the quiet location and it was an ideal spot for exploring the highlights of the Isle of Skye. The location needs a bigger sign to indicate the driveway. We had to ask some strangers for directions when we were trying to find it. We could also have used a bit more toilet paper and towels. The pillows in the room with the double bed were thin and unsupportive. Apart from this we had a pleasant stay.”

“Quiet, beautiful setting on the bay while sheep graze. Staff was friendly and helpful. The cold breakfast was quite large, with a variety of meats and cheese, fresh vegetables and fruit, cereal and muffins. The bed was a little hard and it would have been nice to have something to place our toiletry kit in the bathroom.We loved the towel warmer!”
