"We had an issue with excessive noise and after a few hours of not being able to drown it out to sleep we requested to transfer to a different room. The staff was very apologetic and accommodating. He agreed to transfer us to a different room and it worked out great. The breakfast was really simple but good. The bar was fun. It was our first visit to Lompoc and this motel. We agreed that we would stay again whenever we're in town."

"This property is beautifully landscaped with very nice, clean rooms. It offers a free breakfast with many choices. If you have mobility issues, be aware there is no elevator and the breakfast room is on the second floor. It is not extremely close to the wharf or boardwalk, so plan to drive or Uber there unless you’re an avid walker. Staff was very friendly & responsive."

"I I'm limited on where I can stay because I have a little pug. But I picked the Tides, and I was very happy when I first saw it. It's beautiful, it's white, and the view of the ocean is fantastic. I was in a small room, a king-size bed, because I have the dog and don't need anything special. There was plenty of room to take her for walks. A lot of people had dogs. I was a little disappointed that there was a refrigerator in the room, but no microwave. There's a restaurant next door that you can order from, but it's a small town and everything is very close. Anyway, I loved it. I'll be back, and I really enjoyed it."
