“The property is a beautifully restored Victorian house and our room had amenities such as a fridge, coffee maker, hot pot, and robes. There were dishes and a microwave was available in the hall. We stayed in the Cedar room, which had a view of Nelson from up high. Although it has a detached bathroom down the hall, the bathroom is for that room only. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially assisting us to get an early check in because my husband was ill. Highly recommend!”

“I've stayed here before and enjoyed it, but this stay wasn't as good as the last one. They boast about the fancy showers, but mine was mostly broken and in a sad state. I also didn't like the idea of having to book the hot tub and sauna on check in. That's something I decide to do on the spur of the moment. I did not have to book it last time. I will probably stay again, but I won't be recommending it so enthusiastically anymore. ”

“This hotel worked well for our Nelson stay. Free private parking lot just across the street made parking easy. Room was on the smaller side. The queen is more of a XL-full by state standards. We found the bedding to be comfortable and allowed us both to quickly fall asleep after being out all day. Didn't notice any noise from other guests. Lobby offers decent hot coffee. Fridge and microwave was nice for leftovers. Be sure to contact the hotel prior to your arrival if you have any mobility...

“We chose the cheapest room rate and I suppose we got what we paid for. Towels stained and thread barren, shower curtain heavily coated with pink mold, all edgings black with muck that could be scrub brushed, walls splattered with all matter and in need of paint, couch was too dirty to sit on.”
