"Very noisy neighbouring bar playing loud music on one side of the hotel every night until midnight or 1am. It's an old grand house that is losing a lot of quality and has been converted into a jumbled café full of stuff. The staff are very friendly and kind. "Great resort on the outskirts of Patong Beach, but not too far if you want the madness of Bangla Road etc. Beautiful pools with great views from the front pool. We were upgraded to a higher floor room which was very large and had fantastic views. The resort is set on the cliff so lots of stairs and up and down the hill but they do have buggies going all day to take you up the hill and you never have to wait long. Might be a bit restricted if not very mobile. Breakfast was great, with a good selection and we ate in the restaurant a few evenings, which was also very nice and reasonably priced. We booked our trip to James Bond in the hotel and was very happy with the trip and also used the spa, which was divine. If you are looking for a nice resort not too far from the action would definitely recommend."
