“We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel San Marco. Pietro was kind and knowledgeable and the staff at breakfast were also extremely nice and fast to respond. Breakfasts were fine and the room was very comfortable. The bar came in handy as well. Here are the only negatives: no facial tissues (not a huge deal but it was just a bit strange. So here's the only REAL problem: the cleaning staff were EXTREMELY loud starting at 8 AM in the hallway outside our room. Loud talking, laughing, banging stuff,...

“We loved everything about this hotel. Convenient parking, friendly and helpful staff, great buffet breakfast and was in a great location. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re back in Lucca.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Villa San Michel in Lucca’s countryside. The setting was peaceful and beautiful, and the staff made everything easy. Linda at the front desk was especially helpful, from calling taxis to offering great local advice. Breakfast was another highlight, with excellent cappuccino and espresso included, plus fresh pastry, eggs, and a nice variety of food. We’d happily return and recommend Villa Saint Michel to anyone visiting the area. The dinner restaurant was also a...

“The hotel is very well situated in the walled city of Lucca. Everything nearby is walkable from the hotel with tons of food/bars and even the train station, where trains will take you to Florence and many other destinations. The staff at the hotel will always welcome with a smile and ask about your day! Those that don't speak English, are quick to utilize a translating app on their phones to maintain communication. Excellent experience and will return for a second vacation!”

“Great location, nice & helpful staff .”

“Charming place! Lovely location walkable to all of Lucca and right by the wall!”

“Just a warm wonderful family atmosphere.”

“Stairs to rooms on first floor, no elevator, so be prepared to carry luggage up and down. Lovely room with a view of plaza. Very comfortable and secure electronic locks. Safe was locked and unusable . Great location in heart of Lucca. Very clean and comfortable”

“Very beautiful and great food!”
