"This is my second time at Ardoe and I just love it there. You can’t get more picturesque, unique or enjoyable than staying in a small castle. The grounds are magical with highland cows over the hill and sheep grazing down the garden. The staff are lovely and the dining options are wonderful. It's a great place to rest after a busy travel journey — the beds are comfortable, and all essential amenities are provided, including a mini fridge and microwave. The location is ideal, within walking distance to the city center and railway station. There's also a shared kitchen with basic facilities, which was very convenient.

"Really nice hotel, just be aware there is nothing in the local area. Curry house down the road and pub beyond it didn’t do food. Can’t fault the hotel."
"This is a really nice hotel - very well-laid out with good parking and access. Within the lobby area are various games and activities which help to occupy younger guests. The staff are very friendly and supportive and overall the atmosphere is great. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and very tidy. We had an issue with disturbance from another guest’s room which, once flagged, was fairly dealt with by the hotel team. We make periodic trips to Aberdeen and will continue to visit this hotel when doing so. "

"I stayed at this 3-star hotel and honestly, it was great for what I needed. The room was super minimal—no unnecessary stuff, just clean lines and a calm vibe. But even with the simple setup, it was really comfortable. The bed was cozy, the space felt fresh, and everything just worked.
It’s not trying to be fancy, but that’s kind of the point. It’s quiet, relaxing, and easy. The staff were friendly and helpful without hovering. If you’re into a clean, no-fuss place that still feels really good to stay in, this is it."
