"Pros: Beautiful location, great amenities of things to do. Food was tasty but pricey. (About $100 for two per meal) appetizer, drinks and entrees. Staff neutral not super friendly or grumpy just doing a job.
Cons: room smelled musty (think it was a/c) shower control nozzle broken very hard to adjust to get hot . Stayed in a casita overlooking swimming pool. Had a rooster right outside back patio path crowing loudly at wee hours of the morning. Got no sleep. Talked to staff about rooster and the response was that others have complained and they don’t do anything about it.
Overall: Expected more for $550/night
May be worth a shot if staying in the non casita newer part of complex. Definitely beware if anywhere near pool unless you love seeing chickens with eggs and being awakened at the crack of dawn :) stayed in Feb 2026"
