Decent menu but most of the food was bland, lacking taste or overly greasy (fish). Breakfast was wrong both mornings (even with simple request), kitchen needs to read the orders properly.. At the two dinners, both night people on tables around us were commenting on their food.. (which is such a shame for a lovely hotel...”

“I cannot say enough about how magical this place is! Perfectly situated for day trips throughout the Cotswolds. The definition of quaint and charming cottage in the English countryside. We had dinner and breakfast every day and the food is amazing!! ”

“Lovely bar area and restaurant Staff were friendly. Be careful as rooms are outside of the hotel across the carpark with not great access. You have to walk across a muddy area to the rooms. The rooms do need updating but overall a pleasant stay.”

“Clean room, nice scented toiletries, refreshments tray, delicious biscuits, milk in a mini bottle, friendly, helpful receptionist, exceptional breakfast, good size shower, thermostat for radiator could be controlled in the room, wonderful views from the breakfast room, ideal location for walking.”

“Lovely maintained garden in bloom to walk around, modern comfortable and spacious garden rooms in newer wing. However, unfortunately proximity to the M4 means the noise of traffic is inescapable dampening the whole experience - even in the rooms where seals on windows needs improving and very loud in the garden - so no quiet relaxing if noise is an issue. Bathroom was not 100% clean in the room - toothpaste left on wash basin. Breakfast was quite average.”

“A large, comfortable and beautiful room with an immaculate bathroom, in a convenient location, for the price of a much more basic brand. Usual gripe that in a family room for 4, they only give you two of everything (cups, bath towels), and that the pub is expensive (£4.20 for a soft drink, £7 for a beer etc), so the savings are offset at dinner.”
