“Lovely room and bathroom, but hotel is not in a location that you can walk to historic Beaufort. Our displeasure with hotel started with being greeted by a teenager wanting to park our car or moving it off site. Having been hiking beach locations up the NC coast, our belongings were not amenable for his service. “We have just spent two nights at the lovely Harbor Inn on Ocracoke Island. We stayed in a Standard room (1st Floor Harborfront King with a private deck). The room was great. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. There was also a little kitchen area with a fridge, a microwave and coffee making facilities. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck reading and watching the harbour views. Breakfast was included in the room rate and is served in the building opposite that houses the hotel reception. This...

“We found what looked like a cockroach running across the floor. Also, we had gone out for a couple of hours and came back to the on duty person coming out of our room. Not likely to stay again.”
