I took this in the legendary Dolomites! In Northern Italy, near Brixen/Bressanone. And this was from my last day in the Dolomites. And as far as beauty it was my favorite day! I loved seeing the fog in the mountains and valleys! And the beautiful winter forests :). This was one of my favorite viewpoints up there. I loved how low the fog was hanging! Yet also giving good views of the mountains. It was truly breathtaking to see. And this was only one of many spots around there. A great memory from December 2017!

"A beautiful property! The lady that checked us in was super nice and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and while I liked it, my wife found the decor a bit odd with its use of unfinished wood furniture. The breakfast buffet the next morning was excellent (the spread and the service). The hotel location is also great and very scenic! "The 4 bed family room we booked and had paid didnt exist when we arrived. It was late in the evening an we where offered a double room with an extra bed instead. This even if the sisterhotel next to this (where the check-in was) had an avaliable room for four persons. Very bad stay, the wifi didnt work, the schampoo/shower cream was empty in the room. No compensation offered from the hotel."

"We loved our stay at Hotel Sonne in Gais. The location of the hotel is great : bus stop just in front of the hotel (and we get free bus pass during our stay, thanks to the hotel staff!), near Brunico. The breakfast is EXCELLENT, the room is clean and has everything we needed. Definitely recommend for those who want to visit the Dolomites!"
