“The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years.”

“We were welcomed by the helpful couple at reception and showed to our rooms early. The rooms where nice and clean with a comfortable bed. We had a coffee maker in the room which was really nice. The rooms are small but comfortable. The reception gave us some good suggestions where to go for dinner. Everything was close by and within walking distance We had a nice breakfast at the hotel too with many delicious choices.. I can highly recommend this property”

This hotel has a lovely restaurant attached with great food. Zaros Lake is just around the corner. My favorite part was the spring water running down the side of the road. Best to get google maps to bring you to Krousonas town center and then put in the property address. Google maps in Crete will have you go down goat paths and should not be trusted. “Room was small but workable. Nice balcony to relax on not much of a view . Shower is very small a thin person would barely fit but the water was hot. Came with a small.fridge freezer and worked great once plugged in. A/C was available but they removed the remote thinking I would not need it so room was stuffy and opening the bacony door helped a bit until the mosquitoes made their way in so that was annoying. “Nous avions choisi cet hôtel pour 2 nuits afin d'effectuer dans les meilleures conditions la sublime mais difficile randonnée qui mène du plateau de Nida au sommet du Psiloritis. Pas vraiment le choix sur Anogia, village tout en longueur et sans charme comme cet hôtel pratique mais pas du tout chaleureux.
