We got upgraded to a beach front swim out (we had booked a garden view swim out) and it was stunning, quiet and private and we loved watching whales in the ocean from our pool. Highly recommend booking a beachfront swim out. It was incredible!

The property was clean and the location on the beach was great. The pools are very nice and restaurants are kept clean. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in an altitude suite with a great view of the ocean. I recommend upgrading to the altitude just for better rooms and you also get access to a nice bar and restaurant for lunch and breakfast. The buffet food is typical and the service at the restaurants can be a little slow. Overall I would recommend this property for a more affordable all inclusive option.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Altitude Krystal Grand!! We did the Altitude upgrade ( highly recommend) and everything was outstanding. The staff, conceige, greeters, security, housekeeping, wait staff, bar tenders, entertainment crew ( Marco, Daniela, Luis, Juan, Estephanie, just to name a few ) Drinks were yummy and constantly flowing, good was great. But mostly it was the people that made this trip so fantastic. We met aome of the nicest people ( staff and guests), some who we now consder friends. I will say, we hadn't stayed at an all inclusive for many years as we usually do condo rentals, so weren't sure what to expect. Such a great choice. We will definitely be back. Mucho Gracias to everyone at the Krystal Grand.

We had a fantastic stay with Altitude Krystal Grand, service was wonderful, we loved the dining choices, and the swim out beach front room is a must! The rooms are just ok, we did not come here for the room, we came for the views and the outdoor space which was exactly what we wanted!!!!

Very friendly staff, they would go out of their way to make your vacation a great one. We got the 1st level room w private pool and chairs overlooking the ocean. The first day when we got there, they placed us in a room closest to the Grill restaurant. It became very smokey from the cooking (lunch and dinner). After 3+ hrs, we finally got the Manager's room to switch another room for us. We didnt have the same room so they placed our 1st night upstairs. The next day, we saw Housekeeping swapping our King bed replacing the Double full in the room they eventually placed us. We are grateful for that. We loved our room and we didnt have to fight saving spots poolside like some other resorts we've been to. If they had build a "bridge" to the loungechairs, that would be so great. Otherwise you will be soaking wet getting to the chairs. It can get cold with the breeze. We sat on our lounge chairs listening to the evening performances they have on the beach. We absolutely loved that. Minimal resort activities (water aerobics, beach volleyball, water polo) which works for us. No non-motorized water activities too. We love the resort for it not being busy. We enjoyed getting specialty coffee every morning as part of our resort stay. The food was okay. It wasn't spectacular but it's not bad. We loved Ayami (Japanese) the most. Sashimi was fresh. Hibachi was fun. You can also get Sashimi (at the Grill). We preferred the food there rather than the Buffet-O place.

The room was well appointed and kept very clean by the staff. The food was very good and there were lots of choices. The rooftop bar was especially enjoyable with Jugo making excellent margaritas. We enjoyed a special dinner of sashimi at the Asian restaurant.

My stay was ok. The rooms were nice but the balcony could use a little more maintenance. The hot tub on the balcony took a long time for the water to fill up and the sound was extremely loud. Check in was a bit challenging. I showed confirmation to the employee of the amount that I was to pay at the property which was $13.26 but instead I was charged $240MX ($13.84 USD). I really wasn't in the mood to address it due to the employee had charged my credit card then canceled after realizing the mistake she made. I gave her some grace but it doesn't take away that I was will overcharged by 58 cent. Next, I get to my room & didn't realize there were no wash clothes in the bathroom. So the next day, I asked one of the cleaning staff members for some wash clothes, however, that was challenging as well due to the language barrier. It was just alot going on but it worked out having to use my translator on my phone. As far as the drinks, those were really good but I have to pass on the food as it wasn't all that great to me. Also, when attempting to get a blue towel for me to go near the pool, the employee acted as if he didn't want to give me a towel due to the wrist band I had on which was for Alititude. I didn't have no issue the previous day getting a towel and I wasn't aware that I needed to go somewhere else to get a towel. I was very frustrated with that and still received the towel.The beach was nice, the entertainment was good and I liked the swings.

Wonderful stay! Hugo, Sergio, Marco and Daniella were amazing. We stayed in the Altitude suites which we highly recommend.

Overall a good Holiday. Most staff were very nice. Roberto was specifically very attentive to any requests. I would recommend reservations at the restaurants as they say you don't need one, but then you end up waiting for sometimes 30-45min for a seat at peak times. We had a Swim Up Pool Room which was nice as the vibe at the Main Pools is very busy with lots of Kids and the vibe at the Adult Pool is a bit much when the "Young Adults" get drinking to much. Hotel could use some updates as looking pretty dated, but room was clean. Food was pretty good at the restaurants....buffet as usual at All Inclusives was meh. Overall good resort for the price. Nicer ones on this stretch, but much more expensive.

The walk out garden view was a great room. Comfy bed, stocked fridge, good shower, great pool. The service at the adults only pool was great, Julian and the bartenders name who I’ve forgotten now made sure we were fed and that our drinks were always fresh and checked on us often. The rooftop bar has gorgeous views, and a bartender-Hugo that makes some fantastic drinks. Alfredo at the altitude only bar was friendly and fun! Paul and Marco were always at our service if we happened to have any issues, and made sure to let us know what the daily specials and events were! Will be visiting again
