“Everything about this hotel was a pleasant surprise. Very clean & updated. They have a very nice restaurant on property as well as an awesome Tiki Bar. The location is perfect. A straight shot from the Causeway. The new landscaping was very impressive right down to the sweet honey suckle smell as you register!”

“A wonderful family and couples beachfront property with a wide range of amenities for all guests of all ages. We had a calming water fountain outside our condo with 3 bedrooms so for the kids and our own privacy. Beautiful white sand beach with clear water and easy biking across the island. We hope to be back soon!”

“This is a brand new truly lovely resort. Large rooms with high ceilings, kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. bathroom was spa like and the decorating was beautiful. Located right on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. ”

“Our stay at Anchor Inn may have been short, but it was so sweet! The space was absolutely amazing, and we already can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in Sanibel. The owner was incredibly responsive and attentive, and adding an early check-in was seamless and hassle-free. We loved every minute and would definitely recommend it!”

“Overall it is a nice place and convenient for local travel. I really think the $40 per person per day resort fee is outrageous. A lot of the place is privately owned or under construction. Your resort fee gets you towels and a chair at the beach, access to a small water park. A shuttle and WiFi. It would be more honest to raise the daily rate and drop the fee. One timer for us and can’t recommend it to others. ”

“This was the perfect cottage for my family of 4 to spread out and not be on top of each other like a hotel room. We used the provided bikes every morning. Loved biking. The proximity to the beach with the provided umbrella, chairs, towels and wagon was awesome. Loved our stay!”

“The location of the cottage was good and there was plenty of room to park a car. Everything (restaurants, shopping, grocery store, ice cream, etc.) was within easy driving distance. There were plenty of extra towels for the beach, beach chairs and bicycles for our use. The beds were comfortable. On the downside, the bedrooms were small. So much so that we couldn't fully open the door without hitting the bed. In addition, in the bedrooms there was no storage (chest of drawers) to put clothing...

“It would have been nice to use the pool however there were people smoking dope and drinking in the pool area along with playing their boomboxes super loud. There was one guy who had a house arrest bracelet on who was sitting in the shallow end of the pool smoking dog with one leg in and house arrest leg out.”
