โCromwell Harbor is located just outside all of the hustle of Bar Harbor, Maine, but a quick 5 minute walk gets you there. The room was large and had all the basic necessities- microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Parking was easy and free.

โWe visited as a family of 10 with three generations in three rooms. We loved the location with the chance for the children to run around and play and ride their bikes. We liked the walk into town. We enjoyed the many options for a dining and shopping and fun adventures!โ
โThis property is adorable and convenient. Our room was spacious, very clean, and lovely, with a balcony overlooking the village green where we could sit and enjoy people watching. It's also very close to all the restaurants and shops in the center of Bar Harbor, so it was very convenient. That said, we didn't find it noisy at all, so that was nice. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. It is quite pricey and a bit of a splurge for the last hotel on our two-week road trip, but I'd say...
โThe Sand Bar Cottage is the best place to stay in Bar Harbor! Arrive, unload, and stay parked while you walk and enjoy all that Bar Harbor & Acadia has to offer. Not worrying over finding parking was the greatest perk, but the entire property was beautiful with blooming flowers and the staff were all extremely helpful and hospitable. Our cottage was absolutely perfect. โ
โNice room, #2, Very nice staff, great breakfast, quite, excellent location for walking to everything downtown Bar Harbor. Would definitely go back and stay again. โ
โPositives: The view was incredible even being on the first floor. Also did not realize pool was salt water and heated! The breakfast was surprisingly tasty. The housekeeping team was extremely friendly. The shuttle to town was very convenient.
Cons: while we were eating breakfast, we saw that some cups had fallen on the floor and a customer picked them up, the staff ran over and helped her and then stuffed the cups that had been rolling around in the floor back into the original stack. Ugh....
โIt was a good one night stay experience at Dan and Joanโs place. The suite is big, clean and cozy. Itโs on the side of the building and has its own entrance which provides us more privacy. The living room is big so we got enough space for our luggages. The bed is super comfortable, like it a lot. โ
โStarted off being welcomed with champagne. Nice touch! Staff and room were excellent. Convenient to everything and maybe 10 min. Walk into the harbor and shops. Plus bike rentals 100yards away. The only thing that we could think of was the breakfast options. Hard boiled eggs and maybe more fresh fruit would be nice. Other than that excellent and if we return will stay there again.โ
โGreat location. Friendly staff at the front desk.Food was great.Room service was good but not great. No bathmat and no extra toilet paper as we ran out of on the last day. โ
