Sorrento, Campania hotel rooms at the Relais & Chateaux

"This hotel is in a great location. Close to everything. We needed towels for our boat excursion and they let us use their beach towels. The included breakfast is pretty good too. We booked the family room and it was plenty big for two teenagers and we adults. "

"STUNNING views, kind, helpful, and professional staff, excellent food and service. It’s a little far from town, but there is a dependable, prompt free shuttle that runs every hour that takes you into town. Be aware that once you get off of the shuttle, you will need to navigate a staircase to get to the lower streets that take you to the town center. My husband is currently dependent on a cane, and I was worried about this, but he did fine. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Sorrento, we will stay at Hottl Aminta! "

We were surprised to find that there is no restaurant for evening meals. It wasn’t a problem because there are so many nearby, but on our first night we usually go for the easy option of dining at the hotel. A couple of minor areas for improvement: we would like to have had the option of muesli and granola at breakfast, and also higher quality orange and other juices. "
