South Jersey, New Jersey hotel rooms at the MGM

"Room overlooked the beach. Room is gorgeous. The hotel lobby/check in is on a different floor than the casino, which is really nice. The eclipse pool was awesome - half indoor/half outdoor, and heated. Plenty of food options. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with 2 small kids. It has a Vegas feel, with with a view of the ocean! The check-in lady could've been friendlier, but that's really the only complaint."

"Amazing renovated room"

"The pool was closed. I would have picked a different hotel if I had known that it would be closed the entire stay. The kids were upset that they could not go swimming."

"Front desk staff was horrible and so was the manager who worked in the evenings. Extra fees were charged. "

"No parkimg, coffe free all time, all atractions walking distance liberty bell, masonic temple, city hall etc. Restaurants arround the hotel. 13 minute from the Rieading termnal Market a lot of phily food. "

"The blanket was as flat as the sheets, only two flat pillows. The carpet throughout the casino smelled horrid. There was no staff to complain to. Only three towels my stay was terrible would never recommend staying at showboat "

"There were only a few issues. The furniture and wallpaper need updating the lighting in the bathroom was not good. Bathtubs are out of date, and for older people, dangerous to navigate. The HVAC system let cold air in from the outside. Pros: very friendly staff. The restaurant served up very tasty food the bed was okay but felt a bit saggy and worn out. "
