"The staff was great! The room was clean. We were there for the oglebay light display and this hotel was only 2 1/2 miles away. So glad we stayed here, and it was close to everything.My wife and I had dinner and drinks at the "Wheel House" which is located directly across the street and the hospitality there was also exceptionally great. Thanks for everything! I will be back."

"Staff was very nice and there is free breakfast. I can tell hotel has been slightly updated. Vending machines only take cash. Overall cleanliness isn’t horrible but it could be cleaner in the rooms - coffee machine was molded and not sure if bedding was washed prior to getting the room. TV was great, AC/heating worked great and didn’t smell. Had no noise issues either. Would def stay again. "

"The only issue we had was the door lock batteries died and luckily my wife was still in the room to let me in. They put new ones in but we had to.let him in to change them on the inside of the door. So what if we were both out of the room, how was anyone getting in to change them?"

"Nice clean room and the front desk lady on 12/3 at 3:30 pm was very friendly and helpful. Best front desk experience we have had in a long time!!"

"Muddy area from parking to front porch. Sewer smell outside and inside was constant. Inadequate space to open sofa sleeper upstairs without blocking doorway to the bedroom. Mattresses were not comfortable. Kitchen table was broken. The view was beautiful and we did enjoy seeing the deer and the snowfall. It was very clean. Space was small for a family of six. "

"The house was perfectly clean and well maintained. Staying there is a return to a time of elegance and comfort. We could not be happier. "

"We ended up staying last minute after our other reservation turned out poorly. The evening desk reception woman was very welcoming and we were able to get the suite we wanted. Loved that breakfast was till 10 am on Sat and Sunday. Also, a 12pm check out was wonderful so we didnt feel rushed in the morning. "
