"It was excellent, and I am told by Japanese friends that this was the best APA hotel they have seen. Three problems: 1) The windows didn't open 2) The A/C on the room only made it cooler, not hotter. There was a dial to adjust the temperature, but the man at the front desk told me that did not work. You could only make it cooler. This seemed very strange. But he kindly gave me a plug-in heater for my room. 3) The ELEVATORS ARE A MESS. It takes a long, long time for the to come and then sometimes they are so full you can't get in. 4) The hotel needs to make it clear to guests that there are TWO Ryogoku stations, one for the Metro and one for JR trains. "Room was cleaned but had dust below tv and inside the clothes walking cabinets and doors. Breakfast at Denny’s was ok but could have been better. I wished I had not included breakfast while I was there. I booked two twin rooms for my family was booked under same name my name still they put me two different floors even when I asked for the same floor."
