“The hotel itself is very nice, but getting there is somewhat harrowing. The entry is a crazy, almost straight down drop! Kind of scary, but not nearly as frightening as getting back out. Fortunately the street at the entry is not busy. After not driving a manual transmission for several years, I stalled it out once! If you aren't going in and out a lot (or not driving yourself), it is a wonderful affordable place.”

“The photos on the web site make these rooms look a tad bigger than what they are. These would be great for a student or a traveler with not too much luggage. We of course had two weeks worth of luggage (gotta bring snorkel gear, booze, etc), and after an 8 hour flight my wife was not having it. Staff was great in setting us up with an available hotel room (for a bit more money of course) which was very nice. Our room had a small kitchen area with a stove! “Beautiful and unique “hobbit cabins” in far south Tahiti… two warm pools, fish ponds, amazing flowers and foliage, fantastic sunsets, great breakfast. Be aware that the bungalows are open to the elements and there may be a short uphill walk from the parking lot. Nets are provided for the beds and we didn’t have a serious issue with bugs. There are also chickens wandering the grounds, which is fun.”

“Il faut absolument savoir que suite à un éboulement de terrain la belle piscine et le bain chaud sont fermés pour une durée indéterminée car une partie de la terrasse est tombée et pour ne pas que la piscine tombe aussi on m'a informé qu'elle avait été vidée (on m'a dit que l'incident est arrivé il y a environ 1 mois) et une grande partie de la belle terrasse extérieure est aussi inaccessible pour des raisons de sécurité. “Check in was 1 hour 15 late. They keep telling us 15 mins but the room hadn’t started being cleaned at check in. Wasn’t told we needed dinner reservations so we didn’t have dinner there the first night. Many guests had that complaint. The property is beautiful but the staff lied to us and many guests about check in. It would have been better to just tell us the truth. We could have made better use of the time.”

“Pros: good location, clean, new. Cons: This is a very, very basic room. There was a desk, but no outlets to plug in a laptop, and no lights on or above the desk. No amenities like a coffee maker, toiletries (a bar of soap or tissues would be nice), microwave or refrigerator. Yet there was an ironing board in the closet, but no iron, and there was an ice maker in the hallway, but no ice bucket. No restaurant on site. When we asked the front desk for dining suggestions they said to use Google...

“This place is in a great location, walking distance to the market and ferry. It’s a little tricky to find and not a typical hotel. There are 4 or 5 large rooms/ units with large beds, large bathroom and small kitchenette. The staff was friendly and helpful”
