“All the staff were very friendly, chattyand pleasant. The hotel was easy to locate with ample parking, the hotel was clean and tidy. Check in was easy and quick with all useful information provided. The room was on the first floor with lift and stair access. The room was clean , tidy but was chilly on arrival - quick blast of heating took the chill off. Whilst the bathroom was vey clean there was a few cracked tiles on the door which could do with attention. Good choice at breakfast, staff...

“The bathroom was clean, and the bed sheets were clean, with a lovely smell even in the morning. Heating was on all night, so it wasn't cold in the morning, and after skiing at Glenshee, that warmth was lovely. The fireplace downstairs was so good, and we had a nice chat and watched TV. Great breakfast, and we also had dinner. I got lovely lasagna. The breakfast room looks lovely with a lot of paintings. Books are around, and a lot of small details. ““I stayed at the Atholl Palace Hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, I was disappointed with several aspects. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak, making it uncomfortable to shower. The bed and other facilities were quite uncomfortable as well. There was no concierge service, which I found inconvenient. Apart from the nice views and the historical charm of staying near the castle, I didn’t find much value in the experience.””

“Great location just on the edge of town, nice and easy to find. Staff were all great throughout, check-in was straightforward and painless, room was immaculate and comfortable, even better than it looked in pics. Breakfast was fantastic too (don't miss the porridge with whisky and honey!). Will definitely be back on our next trip to the area.”
