“Centrally-located hotel, with shops and restaurants on your doorstep. The room was a bit tired, but it was OK.”

“very helpful staff , good prices.”

“We are here for a real quick stop. Easy location on and off the highway.”

“Breakfast was good and the lady tending it was very sweet. Front desk staff was very rude. Pretty bad first impression. Also — really looking forward to the hot tub and but again front desk staff had no idea what I was talking about despite it being listed as an amenity on the website. Kinda rots after a long hike on Hadrians wall. Carpeting throughout was old, outdated, and very grungie. Overall, very mid.”

“We had a great stay. Our hosts were fantastic!”

“Enjoyed my stay and very welcoming would definitely stay there again”

“Clean spacious room and bathroom, comfy bed, expected noise from the service station but there was none. Will stay again”

“Fabulous room filled with thoughtful touches from bathrobes thru to fans - with every detail tastefully considered for the most enjoyable guest experience.”

“A very clean and well equipped room - limited parking but perfectly adequate - disappointing lack of breakfast - rice crispies and cormflakes don't do it! Very good dinner and bar facilities”

“Nice hotel at great value. We had a 1 night stay with our dog and were very comfortable.”

“Very old property with no renewal in sight. My small tv in room didn’t have a remote control so had to rely on my iPad, had a portable electric heater in room with no certification label attached, everything looked worn out. Breakfast is basic. Only book as a last resort. The manual wooden key holder could barely fit in my pocket.”

“The property and staff were exceptional breakfast was amazing”

“Very nice stay! Close to train station.”

“Location was fantastic, staff I came into contact with were very pleasant and helpful. Room was ideal for what I wanted”
