“I am rooting for these guys! It’s a beautiful place and we loved staying in Oban away from the tacky ocean front area spots. We loved the views and the grounds and the library with the assortment of whiskeys. Here is a photo of some highlights! The library and the peacock and the views. Looks like a castle. ”

“We had the family room, situated at the front overlooking the bay of Connel and the highland hills in the background. We had summer weather, what helpt making it fantastic. It's a fine B&B, caring owners of an old building that's well maintained. The frond road can be busy during the day, we had all 3 windows open all night and it was quiet, we had a good sleep. “J'ai été très bien reçu. Ma chambre était propre, spacieuse et très confortable. J'ai utilisé une salle de bain partagée qui, elle aussi était propre. J'ai vraiment été satisfaite de mon séjour.”

“I had a 2 night business trip so cost was important. The cost was within my allocated budget. The room was well kitted out. Kettle, fridge, ironing facilities, coffee,tea, table to work at, comfortable bed and a tv. Even had a clock alarm at side of bed and a hairdryer. Towels aplenty and a wonderful high pressure shower. I am sure I have not included everything but would highly recomend this guest house to anyone in oban for a short stay.”

“Clean and fresh room. It was not a big room though, so for the 3 of us not that much space. Also, it was old fashioned. That doesn't matter of course, but an old mattress doesn't sleep to well. We found it to be 'bumpy'. Area is fine, supermarket and restaurants at walking distance, as well as ferry and train station. “No complaints at all. I was giving an upgrade on arrival to a room with a lovely comfortable four poster bed, with an amazing view. 5/10 minute walk to the city centre. Hostess was very welcoming. Will definitely stay again.”
