"The hotel was great! I should have done a bit more research though on the activities & entertainment that was provided. I assumed that since they had water slides and a children’s area, that it wouldn’t be so catered to drunk young adults. It is definitely a party place! If you want to party, then stay in the RIU Party area (buildings 6-9); otherwise, if you’re travelling with children, stay in buildings 1-5. It’s not uncommon to have very loud, drunk people screaming & yelling & still partying when they get back to their rooms. The rooms were large and comfortable. Well stocked. Many pools to choose from. All swim up bars/pools are adults only. Lots of activities to keep people busy throughout the day. Food was delicious. Multiple restaurants that do not need reservations which was great! Staff are extremely attentive. The beach was off limits and were not allowed in the ocean due to the strong waves. Disappointed but that’s not an issue with the resort. This is just to give you a heads up. Lastly, do NOT take taxis anywhere. Order an Uber. So much cheaper! "

"This was our first time at this property. We had an oceanfront room in the Reserve section (Building #3). It was a rocky start due to the fact that they tried to put us in building #4 which is not oceanfront or Reserve. However, when we explained our frustration, they found a room in the right building. The resort is beautiful and the service was great. We loved the multiple options for dining and the food was good. The restaurant in the Reserve section was terrific! Best breakfast! We also loved that it had a small swimmable beach. I would definitely return."

"My family had such a great time the food was beyond our expectations. The hotel was extremely clean. Only issue we ran into was chairs by the pool those seemed to be taken by 6:30am other than that we had lots of fun and would return for another stay in the future."

"Upgraded to Vista side to a 3 bedroom. Very nice room, great view for now. Construction on the north side of the building. Noise didn’t bother us but we are early risers. We had a butler but was not great. Our friend’s butler did the work for both of us. All staff are very good and very friendly. They remember your room number and drink order pretty quick. Food was very good and spent most our time at the roof top pool. It’s pretty incredible place to hang out. They have activities through the resort and only made it to one and no staff showed. The golf being $15USD per person per hour is a bit much when you are paying what we paid. We were a group of 10 and they made it work to sit together for supper every night, even when we went to the marina sister hotel for supper. Overall it was a great vacation, stop looking and book this place if the prices is right. "
