โI stayed at Barefoot Contessa in mid-June 2025. I was holidaying as a solo traveller which I have only done a few times before and so was very anxious leading up to the trip. I neednโt have worried as I had an amazing week. Very well managed, Rosana is there for anything you need from booking excursions to taxiโs etc, she also owns a restaurant down in Sami be sure to check it out for brunches & evening cocktails! Maria is the daily maintenance lady & she is lovely too very good at keeping the place in order and always made us laugh.

Rooms are basic but comfortable - which is reflected in the star rating/room rate, they are spotlessly cleaned everyday and have everything you need including air conditioning (included in the price).

โGreat experience, stayed in the Perla suite. Kind & helpful staff. Room cleaned daily-staff was willing to come back when we hadnโt left yet. Good location to explore the island. Well equipped kitchen for whatever your cooking needs sans an oven. Close to Sami for restaurants, shopping, ferry, & Antisamos. Local tavernas good with lovely staff as well. โ
โFantastic hotel with all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. Minor issues with the room on arrival. We had gone for a suite and were offered a garden room with sincere apologies. We found the garden room more than acceptable and were happy with the overall experience.โ
