โI liked that at night the only way to get into the hotel was with a swipe card, nobody works at the front desk during those night hours so I felt safe. Parking was great and just walking in the area around to get to the restaurants and shopping was really easy.โ
โI liked that the property was big in size and had perfect rooms but one of the do not go to a single room when you have more than three people in the room anyway it was super nice.โ
โFamily friendly, full of amenities. Excellent spot for families, not for couples looking for quiet or pool space. Bicycles available to ride to beach or town.
Rooms have doors with windows so that people/kids walking by look right into the room. Pool is full of kids and is part of a pool membership which includes more kids than normal.โ
โThe location of the Kennebunkport Inn is perfect. Parking is free and although not ample, we never had an issue. The room we got was cozy but totally fine for a couple. It was clean and bathroom updated. The continental breakfast was a welcome treat for a quick yogurt and coffee. Itโs a small hotel, no elevator. So if you have walking issues, be sure to ask for a 1st floor room. โ
โI saw some negative reviews regarding the "older decor" of the property. If you know this in advance and you're not super bougie, this is the place to go. I actually enjoyed feeling like I was back 25 years ago before cell phones and chaos. The property is super clean and well-kept with a nice pool.
