“The room was spacious, and the mattress comfortable. The room was freezing cold, and I didn't get to speak with anyone to get heating. The duvet is very thin, so it was a cold stay. Also the shower wasn't great. Good water pressure mostly, but it did drop so the shower was more of a trickle than a shower. Plus, the shower wasn't all that clean- dusty and water marked.”

“Both nights I stayed there were extremely loud parties with obnoxiously loud music that didn’t stop until midnight. We were not notified that this would occur and I certainly wouldn’t have stayed. Extremely inconsiderate of the staff. Would not recommend unless you enjoy being vibrated out of your bed.”

“Cozy, German Gasthaus style, kind staff. Nice pub and hotel, but a bit loud in the night of my stay. Room clean, but relative small for the price.”

“Anna was fantastic at check-in and ordering a one, kudos!! Food was excellent.”

“The accommodation was excellent, and most importantly, the staff were exceptionally friendly”

“Staff were great, room was clean/cleaned everyday with new towels and bed made. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, hairdryer all available. The location is absolutely what makes this hotel. Really close to 2 central stations, amazing restaurants, the park and Notting Hill. However, the walls were quite thin, so a lot of noise from very early in the morning, and the bed was quite small for a double. Would 100% stay here again!!”

“Friendly staff, had a real country pub feel but in town. Food was really good. Will definitely stay again, thank you”

“Lots of charm and history!! It is an old pub so be prepared to go up stairs that are a little tilted like the floors. But so quiet, I loved staying in Eton vs. Windsor. Just a short walk, really short, to Windsor over the bridge. Staff was very helpful ! Felt like i was going home every day!”

“The room was huge, and the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. those were the only positives of our stay. The property is outdated and desperately needs renovation. The walls were scratched, the baseboards were deteriorating, and there was a terrible smell throughout the hallways. Cleanliness was a serious concern. The property appeared poorly maintained and inadequately cleaned. There was visible evidence suggesting a mice infestation, particularly in the entrance hallway near the...

“Easy to get out and about, wonderful hosts great value for money”
