“Fijne plek, loopafstand van het gezellige Ullapool. Ontbijt is geweldig, personeel supervriendelijk. De kamer voldoet, beetje krap, bed was heerlijk, badkamer aan de kleine kant vooral de wastafel is zo klein dat je bijna niet fatsoenlijk je handen kunt wassen of tanden poetsen zonder een waterballet te veroorzaken. Maar mochten we terug gaan naar Ullapool zouden we toch zeker weer hier reserveren.”

“Staff were very friendly and the continental breakfast was delicious and more than we could possibly eat. Beautiful walk into town to check out the harbour and shops. This was a great place for a quick stay before hopping on the ferry the next day!”

“We were lucky to have a room with a nice sea view, and breakfast was tasty.
Unfortunately the room (mainly the carpet) was pretty dirty. We did have a dog, so maybe we had a dog friendly room, but I could name at least 3 previous dogs that had stayed just by the carpet.
A mix up with the bill meant we had a conversation on checkout regarding and unpaid dinner and drinks, but it was quickly resolved.”

“We booked this hotel in advance as part of our NC500 tour. We stayed at several hotels during our trip, all of which were enjoyable except this one. In our opinion, the photos used to advertise the property do not accurately reflect its current condition.
My wife and I were extremely disappointed when we arrived. The staff we encountered were friendly and polite, and they were the only positive aspect of our experience.

“A nice hotel situated off the beaten track but convenient for those driving the NC500. The drive to get to The Drumbeg (I drove from Bettyhill) was incredible- and probably the highlight for me! The hotel was comfortable and had a homely feel to it but other comments of it being quite dated are right.
Delicious home cooked evening meal but incredibly pricey- but seems to be the norm for hotels like these (small menu, well cooked, expensive).
